The Colleges and Universities of the Anglican Communion (CUAC) will be holding its next Triennial Meeting in Tokyo from March 15-18 in Tokyo at Rikkyo (St. Paul's) University, an Anglican university that is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Japan.

An emotional funeral was held October 29 at St. Dominic's church in the town of Bahawalpur in Pakistan's Punjab province for the 15 members of the Anglican Church of Pakistan massacred inside the same church during Sunday services.

Yasukuni Shrine was protected by the nation as State Shinto until the end of the Asia Pacific War and served as the spiritual foundation for the Emperor's military forces sent to invade the countries in Asia and Pacific.

This year as every year we at Holy Trinity Nagasaki will be remembering the victims of the atomic bombing which took place on August 9th 1945. 70,000 people in the city lost their lives in the explosion, including 29 members of this church. In the following days and years many times that number died as a result of injury or radiation-related disease, and deaths directly attributed to the bombing still occur.

Thanks to the worldwide community for their overwhelming response. Apart from what the Diocese of Gujarat has received directly from within the country and outside we have received Rs.2.50 Crore towards Gujarat Earthquake Reconstruction Program.

In order to complete the Project successfully, CNI Gujarat Diocese has appointed M/s Artefact Projects (a Unit of Artefact Software & Finance Ltd.) Nagpur as Project Management Consultants.

The Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Women's League held it third Annual General Meeting, and celebrated Holy Communion, at Calvary Church in March. The Most Revd. Peter Kong gave the benediction and commissioned new officers.
