Watching the news in the UK over the last few weeks has been an interesting experience. Tales of horror and darkness, stories of unspeakable crimes and evil. And yet, in the midst of it, shafts of light in the darkness.

Throughout the Bible, we find the people of Israel and the eventual Christians in positions of exile, taking up as refugees in other countries.

World Environment Day this year has been somewhat overshadowed by the news of President Donald Trump pulling out of the Paris agreement.

The General Bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Church in the UK, and a member of the Anglican – Oriental Orthodox International Commission (AOOIC), Bishop Angaelos, with a message for those who perpetrate terrorist attacks.
