A new publication that brings together first-person accounts with theological and sociological studies into migration in Europe has been published. Mapping Migration is a revised and updated edition of three bodies’ previous joint study and explores challenges and changes in the European church landscape in light of international migration.

The Primates of the Anglican Communion have agreed to support moves by the Coptic Pope to unify and fix the date of Easter, the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, said last week at the end of the Primates Meeting in Canterbury Cathedral.

This agreement acknowledges the significant distance that remains but confirms their unanimous commitment to walk together. Some 2.4 million people attended a C of E service at Christmas in 2014, a slight increase on the previous year; but overall, the latest attendance figures show that the number of people attending church services weekly has dipped below one million people for the first time, continuing a gradual year-on-year decrease of about one per cent.
