The Diocese of Eau Claire in ECUSA has established an agreement for prayer and fellowship with the Old Catholic Diocese of Germany, the first such agreement between Episcopal and Old Catholic dioceses.
The agreement has been signed by Bishop William Wantland of Eau Claire and Bishop Joachim Vobbe of the Old Catholic Church.
It calls for members of the dioceses to pray for one another, to develop visitation programmes, and to construct "working relationships" between congregations and to educate each other about each others' Churches.
