The Rt Revd Samuel Abe, has been consecrated Bishop of Ekiti, Church of the Province of Nigeria. He succeeds the Rt Revd Samuel Akinbola who has retired.

The Rt Revd Ijaz Inyat Masih, has been consecrated Bishop of Karachi, Church of Pakistan. He succeeds the Rt Revd Arne Rudvin, who has retired.

The Rt Revd William Moses, Bishop of Coimbatore, Church of South India, has been elected the new Moderator of the Church of South India.

The Rt Revd Donald Mtetemela, Bishop of Ruaha, has been elected Archbishop of the Church of the Province of Tanzania.

The Rt Revd Vincent O Muoghereh, has been consecrated the first Bishop of Ughelli, Church of the Province of Nigeria.
The Rt Revd Bello Saka, has been consecrated Bishop of Kano, Church of the Province of Nigeria. He succeeds the Rt Revd Benjamin Omosebi who has retired.
