Episcopal Media Center launches an endowment campaign

A campaign to build an endowment fund for the Atlanta-based Episcopal Media Center has been launched by a group of former and senior trustees who have donated and pledged $1.5 million towards a $5-million goal. While the Center, formerly known as The Episcopal Radio-TV Foundation, has enjoyed strong financial support from more than 2,000 persons and churches nationwide, it has never before conducted an endowment campaign, according to the Revd Canon Louis C Schueddig, president and executive director. The Episcopal Media Center is an independent, nonprofit organization that for 55 years has been devising creative uses of electronic media to engage religious minds on matters of faith and values.
