The Anglican Library Society has been established out of St Paul's Parish in Riverside, Illinois. The Society supports people in the Anglican Communion charged with running church libraries, websites, and archives. This is done primarily through the website located at www.bibliometrics.com/als

There is a directory of Anglican online libraries, a link library of resources, and an online forum for practitioners to exchange information. There is even a section called Librariana Anglicana that provides both spiritual support and library humour.

Although the site is run by a professional librarian, it is designed with the layman in mind, since most church libraries, websites and archives are run by parishioners pressed into service. There are no membership fees. Professionals and amateurs are both welcome.
