Webcast information:
When ECTN was inaugurated 13 years ago, streaming on the Internet did not exist. Now, through the miracle of broadband, it is possible to receive a high-speed video signal through your computer that you can watch in the privacy of your home or office or project directly onto a screen for an audience in your parish hall or conference center.
The webcast may be accessed by a dial-up modem, but for optimal viewing we recommend you connect to the Internet via high-speed access (cable-modem, T-1 Line, DSL). To locate a high-speed Internet provider in your neighborhood, go to www.cnet.com, scroll down to CNET Services and click on Internet Services.
Using a high-speed connection provides the best possible picture, and in conjunction with an LCD projector, allows you to project the image onto a screen for group viewing. An LCD projector can be rented for a reasonable fee. Another key to optimal viewing of Trinity Institute will be a pair of speakers for your computer or the ability to connect to a public address system.
You can test your equipment using Trinity webcasts. Go to www.trinitywallstreet.org, and click on the link entitled latest audio and video. There you will find a library of over 40 archived selections, which may be used to test the set up of your equipment.
