To recognise the work of 20th century theologian and scholar C.S Lewis, a new organisation, the C.S Lewis Society of California, was recently founded.
Many know Lewis through his The Chronicles of Narnia books, one of which, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, was made into a successful film last year. During his career, he also wrote on and effectively championed natural law, reason, science, individual liberty, personal responsibility, and Christian faith.
The C.S Lewis Society of California is an educational and cultural organisation of people interested in events, publications, and other developments that advance deeper understanding of the life, works, and ideas of C.S Lewis and others who address the enduring philosophical, cultural, historical, literary, theological, social, and economic issues of mankind.
