[AllAfrica] Anglican Church Katakwa Diocese Bishop Zakayo Epus has challenged critics to give President Uhuru Kenyatta time to govern the country. "God gave the President wisdom to rule the country, thus the need to give him time to execute his mandate.

Kenyans should not expect changes to come like when one switches a light. Changes come and take a while to take root," he said.

Bishop Epus issued the appeal yesterday during a prayer service at St James Malaba parish that also offered special prayers for many ills facing the country.

Christians observed a minute's silence for the rest of the country to ensure insecurity and corruption were curtailed while Kenyans should learn to accommodate one another.
