But one whom the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Rev Justin Welby, is unlikely ever to forget seeing standing before him at the altar is his daughter Katharine, who was married to her fiancé Mike Roberts on Friday.
The new Mrs Roberts posted links to photographs on the internet showing the Archbishop beaming with delight as his daughter made her way up the steps towards him.
