Location is no barrier to candidates hoping to become United Bible Societies' (UBS) new Global Head of Partnerships & Collaboration.
UBS are looking to appoint "a dynamic and resourceful partnerships builder who will be able to represent the vibrancy and energy of the church."
Like many global organisations UBS is embracing remote working, saying the post can be based anywhere, though "it is preferable that the candidate be based near one of UBS's global hub offices (Miami, Nairobi, Singapore, Swindon)"
Candidates from developing nations are encouraged to apply.
Michael Perreau, Director General of United Bible Societies explains, "I am looking for a visionary leader who is able to build global level relationships with major church denominations, NGOs, corporates, governments and institutions like the UN. This strategically-minded individual will deliver new partnerships that raise our global profile and generate more income so we can fulfill our mission of making the Bible available for everyone.
"The successful candidate will work with other senior leaders in Bible Societies across the world to maximise our global impact. Should you know anyone who would excel in this role, please do encourage them to apply."
The successful candidate will be passionate about stewarding the legacy and vision of the United Bible Societies and its resources as it seeks to continue its work in partnering with other mission organisations to make God's word available to as many people as possible. This will involve offering leadership and support to the United Bible Society's 146 member Bible Societies, as well as exploring new avenues of mission and partnerships, as well as new trends and technologies.
UBS is working with Macaulay Search to conduct this critical appointment process. Applications should be sent by email to ewen.mcalpine@macaulaysearch.com and must be received by Wednesday the 21st of May 2014.
Your application should comprise:

A full CV, including educational and professional qualifications, a full employment history showing the more significant positions, responsibilities held and relevant achievements.
Daytime, evening and/or mobile telephone numbers (to be used with discretion).
The full job description can be found at http://www.unitedbiblesocieties.org/vacancies/
Successful candidates will first interview for the post by video Skype in early June; subsequently, Finalist Candidates will be flown to interview with the UBS Team in the Netherlands between the 23rd to 27th of June.
