More than 150 primates, clergy and lay leaders from around the Anglican Communion gathered for TOPIK, hosted by the Anglican Church in Korea (ACK).

Arising from the heart of the Korean people, and in response to a resolution of the 13th meeting of the Anglican Consultative Council (ACC), a "Worldwide Anglican Peace Conference" entitled Towards Peace in Korea (TOPIK), was held November 14-20 in Paju.

Hosted by the Anglican Provinces of Rwanda and Burundi, the Anglican Peace and Justice Network (APJN) began its triennial meeting September 25 in Kigali, Rwanda, with a welcome from Rwandese Archbishop Emmanuel Mbona Kolini, who greeted the representatives from 17 provinces (list below) of the Anglican Communion, many of them from conflict regions.

The discussion of the Anglican Peace and Justice Network (APJN) was thorough and an additional session was allocated to facilitate maximum participation from the floor of the ACC. Note was duly made of the representations made to Lambeth, ACC and others concerning the Palestine/Israeli conflict.
