War-ravaged northern Iraq needs our help

In August 2014, the Anglican Primate of Australia, Archbishop Philip Freier, together with the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, who was visiting Australia at the time, launched Anglican Overseas Aid’s Northern Iraq crisis appeal in August 2014. The Melbourne Anglican’s Chris Shearer visited northern Iraq to see how the money has been spent.

The Missions Board of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand & Polynesia (AMB) and the Diocese of Polynesia are formulating the next stages of their response to the destruction wreaked by Cyclone Winston on Fiji and Tonga. Archbishop Winston Halapua spent two days last week visiting some of the most remote Anglican communities on Fiji’s main island of Viti Levu.
