Five Anglican communities affected by the 2007 April tsunami in the Western province in Solomon Islands this week received latest consignment of supplies from the Anglican Church of Melanesia in Honiara.

The Revd Alfred Karibongi was elected the new Bishop of the Diocese of Hanuato'o on July 10 his election was announced by the Archbishop of the Church of Melanesia and the Council of Bishops who formalised the result during the recent Bishops meeting at TNK on north Guadalcanal where the election was held.
