With the Primates' Meeting only a few weeks away, Archbishops Thabo Makgoba and Phillip Aspinall have written prayers asking that God bless and empower the Primates in their "heavy responsibilities of servant leadership".

The Primates have today released a letter to the Churches of the Anglican Communion as part of the last day of the Primates Meeting in Alexandria, together with the Report of the Windsor Continuation Group to the Archbishop of Canterbury, released at the same meeting.

At the press briefing the Archbishop of Canterbury said the spirit of the meeting had been very constructive and while people might not have changed their minds on key issues there had been a willingness to listen and to try to find accommodations for each other.
