On 1 March 2011 Martha Allen joined the Indigenous Theological Training Institute (ITTI)  as Executive Director. Martha is a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe (Lakota) in South Dakota and was raised an Episcopalian in Native churches throughout the US (her father was an Episcopal priest).
