When members of the ACC meet in Lusaka next month they will discuss – in the context of intentional discipleship – issues ranging from gender justice, refugees and migration, the environment and reconciliation; and they will do so against a backdrop of prayer, Bible study and worship. Members of the Anglican Communion are being invited to join with them as they explore the Book of Ruth in a series of Bible studies.

The Archbishop of Canterbury’s chaplain, the Revd Canon Dr Jo Wells, is to become the next Bishop of Dorking in the Church of England’s Guildford Diocese. Dr Wells will assist the Rt Revd Andrew Watson in leading the diocese, and will have a particular responsibility for nurturing nurture vocations and working with the many schools and colleges in the diocese.
